Life at the seaside was the starting point for Sportmax’s easy, breezy resort collection. Rope motifs appeared on knits as well as in a print on midlength skirts and tops, while trousers were cut wide and ample in classic sailor fashion. Workwear was also explored — mostly cut in unexpected silhouettes, such as feminine dresses with a peplum or belted with oversize pockets — while chic skinny ribbed sweaters in elongated lengths channeled the label’s contemporary lifestyle aesthetic.
