Orla Kiely and her longtime friend and collaborator Leith Clark debuted a new capsule collection for resort called L’Orla, inspired by French photographer Sarah Moon and actress Stephanie Farrow, the younger sister of Mia.
Romantic and feminine with a Seventies vibe — and plenty of English charm — the lineup, mostly dresses and coats in velvet, silk, jacquard, mohair and crochet, were a subtle nod to the styles of Ossie Clark and Biba. High-neck silhouettes featured playful prints and billowy, ruffled sleeves and collars. “It was very instinctual,” said Clark of the collaborative design process.
