Wes Gordon looked to Nineties minimalist beauties Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and a pre-Goop Gwyneth Paltrow for his first resort collection. Clean lines and classic shapes came with a sexy yet clever twist. For example, a form-fitting white dress with long sleeves was slit up both thighs to reveal horizontal stripes beneath. A white shawl collar tuxedo jacket, worn over a bare chest, was paired with a silver leather mini, and a simple black slip dress flared at the hem for controlled flounce. If purist by day, Gordon splashed out for eveningwear, with lace, feathers and rubberized sequins on party attire.
