Peter Dundas channeled the Seventies — think Yves Saint Laurent and Lauren Hutton — for his safari-inspired Pucci collection. He said he focused on day clothes, at least the kind that would make sense for those who would wear a sheer silk caftan or curve-hugging, ribbed tank dress with lace cutouts. There was also a strong military influence, shown with fitted dresses and jackets, many done in army green, which provided a more modest alternative to all the sexy fare. There’s room for it all: With flagship openings scheduled for New York, Paris and Milan in the next 12 months, Dundas said there’s “a lot more space to make clothes for.”
