Designers Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa captured an arty spirit for Noon by Noor’s pre-fall collection. They pulled from a source that was particularly close to home: the paintings of Bahraini artist — and Noor Al Khalifa’s father — Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. The reference worked best in painterly prints, one of which looked like dripping paint, infusing a languid silk top-and-skirt set with a sense of playfulness. Dressed-up sportswear is the label’s strong suit. Here, cropped flares and a matching peplum top in embellished duchess satin, and a pale pink blazer covered in melted paillettes made for cool, alternative options for evening.
