Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig’s pre-fall lineup of colorful, ethereal cocktail and evening looks featured bird and floral motifs. The designers referenced “Cabinet of Natural Curiosities,” the 18th century natural history book by Albertus Seba. Short-sleeved silhouettes, some with bejeweled accents, had a sweetness about them, yet the lineup’s highlight — lace dresses in red and chartreuse with illusion cutouts at the midriff and neckline — conveyed subtle sexiness.
