No surprises here: Angela Missoni combined geometric silhouettes with graphic patterns for pre-fall. She opted for simple lines and sharp-cut pieces peppered by vibrant color combinations. Missoni is obligated to her house’s very specific codes, but after an extremely quiet spring, one hoped she would up the newness and intrigue going forward. Maybe next season. In the meantime, a sheepskin coat was embellished with multicolor mink fur intarsia, a flared jacquard caban featured playful horizontal stripes. The most dynamic pre-fall piece was a fringed intarsia mini with a sassy Seventies’ vibe.
