“Midcentury Florida architecture” were the buzzwords at Timo Weiland. The design trio — comprised of Weiland, who grew up in Florida, as well as Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang — translated the concept into feminine and sporty separates done in a neutral palette with pops of primary colors. The lineup’s signature print, which Weiland described as an abstract blend of leopard and rain droplets, was blown up on knits and miniaturized onto custom jacquard separates, while a silver-gray pleated silk skirt with sheer details added considerable polish.
