A magnified leaf-print double-breasted mididress worn over contrasting printed pants set the direction for Rodebjer’s pre-fall lineup. Creative director Carin Rodebjer reflected on her childhood in the Seventies and the movies of Wes Anderson to come up with the nostalgic collection.
Versatility was a consistent theme. Several great chiffon caftans could rock a swimsuit or be worn over more formal attire; a Seventies smock skirt could be slouchy on the hip or high-waisted, and a cotton “trench-dress” worked well over pants and a T-shirt or on its own as a dress. Also notable: Seersucker suits were given an offbeat-chic vibe via pants that were wide and cropped.
