Mixed media and animal prints ruled the spring capsule imagined by Junichi Abe for Adidas by Kolor. The activewear line, now in its fourth season, offered a functional wardrobe for techy sports fans, mixing Abe’s design acumen with the German company’s technological advancements, including Climalite, Climachill and Adidas Boost.
For spring, the collaboration, consisting of 27 apparel pieces and four footwear styles, conjured metallic jaguar prints on a sporty T-shirt and graphic zebra patterns on a handsome track jacket. A standout was an airy anorak-and-shorts ensemble made of mesh and technical fabric, which perfectly blended street and track.
