Davide Morello offered a volley of salable tailoring options rendered in an appealing palette of blue, green and brown shades, often contrasted by checks and textured fabrics such as a handsome summer tweed that has been trending in Milan for spring.
The designer took no risks on the silhouettes, sticking to a familiar mesh of slim-fit suits and colored knits. The tailoring looked best on this season’s fluid summer coats, which felt light and airy lending an insouciant air to an elegant but rather serious collection.
A welcomed change offered a series of safari jackets, one of which was so delicate it was worn like a shirt tucked into the model’s pants.
