Thorsun designer George Sotelo showcased an array of printed bathing suits in his line’s second season. Taking cues from his inaugural collection, Sotelo’s spring line showcased a combination of Mexican modernist and recolored Bauhaus prints in geometrics, animal patterns and pops of florals shown in a trim and relaxed fit.
Sotelo introduced women’s into the lineup this season with the Athena fit. “It seemed right as the women were wearing the slim-fit version of the men’s trunk,” said Sotelo, pointing to the women’s offering that looked like smaller versions of the men’s models.
