Tommy Hilfiger picked London this season to unveil his tailored clothing collection and the new TH Flex Rafael Nadal Edition suits. “We’re in London because we’re putting a big emphasis on tailoring – it’s important to our customer – and to our global business,” said Hilfiger during a walk-through in the showroom next door to the brand’s Knightsbridge flagship.
Tommy Hilfiger Tailored featured double-breasted suits in cotton piqué or smooth sateen that came in punchy paint-box shades of red, cobalt and teal. Silhouettes were slim, with cropped trousers and high cuffs, while separates were sporty — and luxurious. T-shirts came in mercerized cotton, while motorcycle jackets were done in nubuck, and printed silk bandanas came layered under jackets.

Hilfiger also showed off the first TH Flex Rafael Nadal suits and outerwear, made with a specially developed stretch and stain-resistant Marzotto fabric. “They’re made to move and be flexible — we wanted to do something authentic to him,” Hilfiger said. The suits came in a bird’s eye wool weave, while technical windbreakers had a two-way stretch.
