Andreas Melbostad turned up the volume in the outerwear department at Diesel Black Gold for fall. He checked the trend box with a series of cape hybrids — his transitioned from the biker world, as they were done with perfecto elements and in leather, or came with parka fronts boasting maxisized pockets and well-placed arm slits for freedom of movement. The lineup’s supersize shearling bombers and perfectos were also a highlight, outshining the more traditional nylon bomber in the show. Bottoms remained classic in Diesel’s terminology, i.e. skinny, rendered in denim, full-knit or leather.
