With her third collection, Marina Moscone knows exactly who her woman is — and she is pretty much a version of the designer herself: “unfussy” and elegant. On her board, images of Nineties Stephanie Seymour and Seventies Bianca Jagger set the tone of the collection. “It’s all you want to wear now,” she said. As far-reaching as that statement was, she was right on point with intricate cashmere knits in gray and olive green, a navy tuxedo, hammered silk off-the-shoulder tops, tailored cashmere coats and interesting shirting. But it is her eye for those little “extra something” pieces that make her collection stand out: a sleek beige crepe short cape dress, a fit-and-flare leather trench-dress, a navy curly fur cape and sexy strappy wrap dresses.
