Deconstructed classics were the inspiration behind Jon Millner’s fall collection as he reworked the staple pieces every woman needs in her wardrobe. With an eye toward sales, Millner presented a lineup that was very wearable, but still had a unique charm. The great white shirt was reworked with bustier details, a blazer had a corset back and rounded shoulder pads to give a soft edge to the tailoring and trousers were high-waisted and wide-legged for an elongated silhouette. Overall, Millner played it safe this season, but his strongest looks were those that tapped into his youthful side, such as reworked raw denim pieces and a leather track jacket.
