Everyone knows Lisa Perry is the go-to designer for Mod, Sixties-inspired looks, and for fall she did not disappoint. This season she took her fashion cues from the works of Sonia Delaunay, an abstract artist and feminist known for her geometric shapes and bold colors. Perry translated Delaunay’s patterns into playful A-line dresses, a standout puffer jacket, a sultry maxidress and plenty of quirky knits.
Perry also expanded her knitwear offerings, showing graphic color-blocked sweaters and vivid stripes, as well as sporty ribbed-knit trims on tops and dresses. Her outerwear ranged from a ladylike pink coat with a rounded shoulder to a cool color-blocked, mixed-media topper.

What was really new for Perry this season, however, was that she photographed her own look book with a Polaroid camera using women she admired as models. They included Dr. Orli Etingin, head of the Iris Cantor Women’s Health Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital; Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, owner of Salon 94, and Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Federation.
