Lyn Devon was succinct about her fall collection: “A concise, practical, dependable wardrobe — useful clothes.” Perhaps those aren’t the sexiest words, but they do not negate luxury and finesse, which the lineup was very much about. Silhouettes were lean, layered and spare, allowing the colors — paprika, dusty rose, burgundy — to do the talking. One of the best looks was a pale blue and ivory collarless jacquard coat over a clingy charcoal cashmere ribbed turtleneck and skirt combo, which is having a moment this season.
