French designer Alix Petit, who made her New York Fashion Week debut, is not one to shy away from prints. For fall, she offered a collection built around bold tiger patterns and animal graphics, done in mix-and-match separates. Comforting wool and mohair looked cozy in her chosen palette of warm spice tones and neutrals, as in a burgundy fringed wrap skirt and statement coat combo. A standout look was a fun check-and-tiger-print fabric-blocked coat with matching camel pants. It was a kitschy collection of casual, comfortable daywear to layer on when meeting up with friends.
