Anne Valérie Hash was inspired by “le smoking,” sending out some sleek jackets and coats with dropped shoulders and lapels set off by a band of contrasting fabric. But some of her more experimental efforts, like an all-in-one splicing a jacket, top and pants, were marred by haphazard execution.
