Old Hollywood glamour and the film “Dior and I” were the dual inspirations for the Isabelle Armstrong fall bridal collection, now designed by Kenneth Pool. Shown in an ornate but poorly lit space in the Hotel Plaza Athénée, the designs had a retro aesthetic — but not one that felt fresh or new. Trumpet silhouettes ruled, all with delicate lace embroideries and rich embellishments. The collection also featured a selection of beaded knit toppers for brides looking to keep warm during a winter wedding.
