“Totally Spies!” celebrates its 25th anniversary with a jewelry and accessories collaboration in partnership with Bonbonwhims. The collection is available in the United States with worldwide availability on the jewelry brand’s official website.
“As a jewelry and accessory brand rooted in Y2K whimsy and nostalgia, when we were approached by the ‘Totally Spies!’ team at Banijay to create a capsule collection to celebrate its 25th anniversary, we jumped at the opportunity,” Clare Ngai-Howard, founder and creative director of Bonbonwhims, told WWD in a statement.

“For this collection, we drew inspiration from the show’s iconic gadget universe. We took a deep dive into the visual world of these tools and reinterpreted them into highly wearable, everyday jewelry and accessory pieces that sit seamlessly within our core collection,” Ngai-Howard said.
Driven by nostalgia with a healthy dose of girl power represented in its unique designs, the “Totally Spies!” x Bonbonwhims jewelry collection spotlights sentimentality while also introducing the memorable Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment, characters to a new audience.
The “Totally Spies!” world offered a bevy of playful gadgets for Bonbonwhims to use as inspiration for the capsule collection. Jewelry pieces inspired by the Anti-Gravity Hair Barrettes, Hologram Ring, Bling Bling Boomerang Necklace, and more are feature as part of the anniversary capsule. The capsule includes eight pieces total, ranging in prices from $24-$68. Each order also comes with the complementary “Totally Spies!” jewelry pouch, while supplies last.
“Bonbonwhims understands how today’s fans use fashion as a form of self-expression,” Roubina Tchoboian, head of global licensing, Banijay Kids & Family, said in statement. “Its take on ‘Totally Spies!’ perfectly captures the attitude, color and confidence of the show, balancing its iconic heritage with designs that feel unmistakably current.”
Much like the three “Totally Spies” characters — Clover, Sam and Alex — the collection is crafted in distinct colorways, featuring the trio’s playful use of red, green and yellow, among other vibrant tones.
The collaboration follows an ongoing trend of Y2K and nostalgia-inspired partnerships between brands. Collaborations from I.Am.Gia and Von Dutch to Bratz and Jean Paul Gaultier and Bebe Express have capitalized on ongoing interest in early aughts trends and sentimentality.
