Tyler, the Creator Designs Louis Vuitton Capsule Collection: All the Looks

Louis Vuitton is launching a spring 2024 men’s capsule collection on March 21 in collaboration with Tyler, the Creator. The line translates the rapper’s preppy aesthetic throughout jackets, collegiate knitwear, golf kits, bags and a new version of the brand’s monogram motif.

Men’s creative director Pharrell Williams tapped his friend and collaborator because of their shared passion for music, fashion and jewelry.  “He doesn’t shy away from doing something interesting and different,” Williams exclusively told WWD in an interview conducted via email. “Tyler already had a strong relationship with the maison when Virgil was here, and this spring collection intentionally builds on this and strengthens our LVers community of incredible minds and artists who understand our vision and appreciate the history and Virgil’s impact like Tyler does,” he remarked.

In a statement, Tyler, the Creator said he was inspired by designing a collection he would wear “all the time.”

“I dress the same in a meeting as I do a performance or grocery store trip, so hand drawing the monogram felt like the perfect balance to me,” he explained. “The chessboard is one of the greatest things I’ve made and is definitely my favorite thing from the collection. The team was great to work with, it kinda felt like ‘Big’ with Tom Hanks. P has always left a door open for me, but I still can’t believe this one.”
