LeBron James serves as the inspiration for Barbie‘s first installment of the brand’s Kenbassador series, featuring a range of inspiring figures who’ve left an indelible impact on the culture.
The Kenbassador initiative celebrates Barbie’s best friend ahead of Ken’s 65th anniversary in 2026. The Kenbassador LeBron James doll is designed in the decorated athlete, author, activist and philanthropist’s likeness, complete with “LJ” letterman jacket and more accessories.
“As a young kid, I was fortunate to have role models who not only inspired me but also showed me what’s possible through hard work and dedication,” LeBron James said in a statement.

“Now, as an adult, I understand how vital it is for young people to have positive figures to look up to. That’s why partnering with Barbie to release the LeBron James Kenbassadors doll is such an honor. It’s an opportunity to recognize the powerful impact of role models who instill confidence, inspire dreams, and show kids that they, too, can achieve greatness,” the venerated athlete said.
The LeBron James Kenbassador Barbie doll will be available Monday at select Target stores and on Target’s official website, Amazon, Walmart and Mattel Creations with a suggested price of $75.
Javi Meabe designed James’ doll while Charis Ceniroz designed the packaging.

The introduction of the LeBron James Barbie doll also serves as a collaboration between Mattel and the LeBron James Family Foundation, with references to the organization displayed on the doll’s apparel and on the box.
