Chanel is adding yet another Hollywood heartthrob to its talent roster.
The luxury fashion and beauty maison has tapped Jacob Elordi to be the new face of Bleu de Chanel, following the 2023 appointment of Timothée Chalamet.

According to Thomas de Pré de Saint Maur, head of global creative resources, fragrance and beauty at Chanel, Elordi embodies all the values of the house and the faces that came before. “I had been following Jacob Elordi’s career for several years, since ‘Euphoria,'” de Saint Maur said in the official press release. “I first met him on the set of the ‘See You at 5’ film for N°5, in which he stars alongside Margot Robbie, and it was a revelation.”

Chanel has long tapped artists and actors in film to front its flagship fragrance and fashion line. Chalamet joined the brand as the new ambassador for Bleu de Chanel three years ago, succeeding the late Gaspard Ulliel, who famously starred in a campaign directed by Martin Scorsese in 2010. Scorsese was thus directed Chalamet’s 90-second film for the brand in 2024.
Given its “strong ties to cinema,” Elordi said it was “an honor” to usher in a new chapter of Bleu de Chanel. “The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the house before me are people I deeply respect and admire,” he said in the press release, which teased the May release of his campaign.
This is a first-of-its-kind ambassadorship for Elordi, who’s remained a prominent member of the Bottega Veneta family for the last two years. His latest appointment comes as rumors of his potential romance with Kendall Jenner, a match supposedly set by her sister Kylie, heat up online. The two first sparked dating speculation after they were spotted together at Justin Bieber’s set during weekend one of Coachella. It wasn’t long before Deux Moi, an anonymous celebrity tip line, reported that a source saw them getting cozy at an after party in the desert.
