On Nov. 6, 2003, Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI of Spain attended an official ceremony to celebrate their engagement at the garden of El Pardo Palace in Madrid. At the engagement ceremony, Letizia and Felipe posed for photos and the future queen showed off her unique engagement ring. The ring features a white-gold eternity band embellished with 16 diamond baguette stones.
Along with solo photos of the couple, Letizia and Felipe posed for photos with members of their family, including Felipe’s father, King Juan Carlos. The couple went on to marry in May 2004.
King Felipe ascended the throne in June 2014. In May 2024, the couple commemorated their landmark 20th wedding anniversary.
