Best Beauty at Coachella Weekend One: Sabrina Carpenter, Teyana Taylor, Addison Rae and More

From rhinestone eyes to feathered braids and halo hair, Coachella beauty is anything under the sun — literally. But every year, a few hairstyles and makeup looks come out on top, and weekend one certainly brought some interesting texture to the lookbook of festivals past.

Sabrina Carpenter, for one, ditched her frizzy coils for a short and soft hair aesthetic courtesy of Redken and celebrity stylist Evanie Frausto. Dubbed the “Cinematic Volume Blowout,” her blond hair boasted bouncy ends that met her collarbone and side-swept bangs that exposed her doe eyes and dark brows. According to Frausto, the hero products included Redken’s Root Lifter Volumizing Spray, Dry Texture Spray and Max Hold Hairspray.

Elsewhere in the Coachella lineup, Addison Rae updated her caramel-colored ends with chili pepper coloring almost as dark as FKA Twigs’. Both artists also played with bold lips and silver hues on their eyes, capturing the burgeoning revival of playful glam on arguably the biggest stage in festival season.
