Academy Award winner Daniel Kaluuya and actress Lorna Luft will help bring the Broadway community together for a special fundraising night this October with the charity organization One For The Boys.
Dedicated to breaking the silence around male cancer and promoting proactive health action, the U.K.-based OFTB will host its first major U.S. event in New York City on Oct. 12 as it expands its mission around the world.
The night will benefit OFTB and Stand Up To Cancer, with the two organizations joining forces to amplify their shared commitment to early detection, awareness, and support for those impacted by cancer.
According to the charity, the 2025 “Love Life” event will feature live performances from Olivier Award nominated actress Marisha Wallace, Tony Award winning actor Ben Vereen and Broadway and West End star. The night will be hosted by 11-time Emmy Award winning host of “On Stage” on Spectrum News NY1 Frank DiLella.

The evening will also include a moving tribute to those lost to cancer – including Gavin Creel, the beloved Broadway performer who passed away from cancer in September 2024 at just 48 years old.
Sofia Davis, founder and chief executive officer of OFTB, said in a statement that bringing “Love Life” to New York is about expanding the conversation and building a truly global movement.
“Men in the U.S., like in the U.K., often don’t speak up about their health or receive the support they need, when they need it,” Davis said. “By hosting this event in NYC, we’re not just putting the spotlight on male cancer – we’re inviting a wider community into the conversation.”
Julian Adams, Ph.D., president and CEO of SU2C, added: “Cancer touches so many lives, and support from events like this helps fuel our mission to accelerate innovative research and bring new advances to patients faster. We are inspired by the commitment to raising awareness on a global stage and grateful to everyone whose generosity makes this important work possible.”
Previous OFTB events have welcomed performances by Sia, Adam Lambert, Nicole Scherzinger, Kylie Minogue, and Mark Ronson, and have drawn global icons such as Samuel L. Jackson, Lewis Hamilton, Stanley Tucci, and Margot Robbie to name a few.
