Greta Gerwig’s upcoming “Barbie” movie has brands investing in all kinds of collaborations.
Companies are curating special collections inspired by the iconic doll and her pink plastic world in anticipation of Margot Robbie‘s film release. Moon, Superga, Impala and Gap are among the brands that have already released Barbie-inspired collections this year, with more brands set to unveil collaborations soon.

Barbie x Moon
Tapped as the official oral partner of the upcoming “Barbie” movie, Moon has debuted a limited-edition Barbie x Moon electric toothbrush and Barbie x Moon bubble mint whitening toothpaste. Exclusively reported by WWD on Tuesday, the products have pink packaging and the toothbrush has five custom sonic modes.
Primark
In partnership with Mattel, Primark’s Barbie capsule collection features more than 73 pieces across womenswear, menswear, nightwear, beauty and accessories, inspired by Barbie’s nostalgic style. In addition, the ’80s-themed athletic garb that Robbie and Gosling wear in one of the many Barbie trailers is available for purchase at Primark.
Mattel
Announcing the news in early June, Mattel released an exclusive collection inspired by the soon-to-come “Barbie” film, with dolls that are modeled after the actual core cast.
Robbie’s Barbie doll ($50) wears the same style of clothes she has been seen wearing in the film’s trailers, including a pink gingham dress, a sequin ’70s-style jumpsuit and a Western-cowboy-inspired outfit.
Other dolls in the collection take inspiration from Ryan Gosling as Ken, Simu Liu as Ken# 2 and Issa Rae as President Barbie.
Superga
In honor of “Barbie,” Superga has released a capsule collection that adds a Barbie-themed tweak to its classic sneaker styles. Among them is the signature 2750 cotton canvas sneakers now offered with icons of rollerblades, beachballs and flamingos along with the cotton canvas 2802 style sneakers reimagined with an extra-heightened pink platform.
Gap X Mattel
Joining the Barbie helmed fun is Gap, which released the Gap x Barbie collection on May 23. Available on Gap’s website and in select stores globally, the collaboration features denim, pet apparel, logo hoodies, accessories and more in both Barbie branding and Gap’s arch typeface.
Funboy
Embracing the summer season film’s debut, Funboy released a pool float collection inspired by the new movie, in five unique styles. One of the standout items in the collection is the Iconic B Inflatable Pool Float ($59), which is shaped as the literal letter “B.” The collection also offers a speedboat-shaped pool float ($109) which grows into a 9-foot-long luxurious daybed fit for one to two adults.
Barbie x Kitsch
Launched June 13, the Barbie x Kitsch limited-edition collection features hair accessories inspired by Barbie’s iconic style, including scrunchies, heatless hair curlers and satin pillowcases. Among the lineup is a dainty marble claw-clip ($14) with the “Barbie” logo in dazzling pink rhinestones.
Béis x “Barbie The Movie”
Béis, the travel accessory brand founded by Shay Mitchell has announced its Béis X “Barbie The Movie” collection. Available for purchase just two days before the movie premieres in theaters, the collection will feature the brand’s The Mini Weekender, The Rollers, The Cosmetic Case, The Travel Wallet and The Passport and Luggage Tag Set, all in Barbie-themed colorways. In addition, the items will also incorporate new design elements, including glossy finishes on The Rollers and custom-designed pink floral lining.
Pacsun x Barbie
Lifestyle clothing brand Pacsun has collaborated with Barbie for a collection that is inspired by the ’90s. The collection includes activewear, denim, loungewear, swimwear and accessories. The four key styles in the collection include Workin’ Out Barbie, Malibu Beach Barbie, Celebration Barbie and Back to School Barbie. The collection’s sizes range from XS to XL, and prices range from $16 to $89.
Boohoo
Global e-tailer Boohoo has jumped on the Barbie bandwagon. The limited-edition capsule collection includes 39 styles, with products including ready-to-wear and accessories. Price points for the collation range from $8 to $65.
Aldo
Aldo launched its first collaboration with the iconic Mattel character at the end of June. The 19-piece collection includes footwear, handbags and accessories. The range of pinks include Malibu Fuchsia, Malibu Pink and Soft BB Pink.
Rue21
Available July 6, Rue 21 collaborated with both Mattel brands Barbie and Hot Wheels on an accessory and apparel line that evokes nostalgia. The exclusive collection consists of 29 pieces, including graphic “Barbie” logo shirts and matching sets.
Kendra Scott x Barbie
Available July 6, the Kendra Scott x Barbie collection consists of three necklaces, two bracelets, and four pairs of earrings, all in designs that combine both the jewelry brand and Barbie elements. In addition, Kendra Scott will donate 20% of the purchase to the Barbie Dream Gap Project, a global initiative that directly supports the goals of Girls Inc.
Crocs x Barbie
Leading up to the film’s premiere in July, Crocs also collaborated with Barbie on a pink-themed shoe collection, which includes the “Barbie The Movie” Mega Crush Clog. The shoe features almost three inches of height, glitter wrapping around the midsole and Jibbitz charms inspired by Barbie’s iconic doll world. The collection is available to shop on July 11 with prices ranging from $19.99 to $74.99.
Zara
Zara created a Barbie collection that includes Ken-adorned white boxers, chevron-printed swimsuits and pink-themed home decor. Available to shop July 17, the collection inspires Barbie fans to play dress-up by also offering fashion items inspired by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling’s outfits from the upcoming film. In addition, Zara is hosting two pop-ups at its Paris and New York City store until July 30.
MeUndies X Barbie
“Barbie” movie goers can even embrace the Barbiecore aesthetic underneath their clothes with the MeUndies X Barbie collection. The limited-edition line includes underwear, loungewear, socks and hair accessories in a Malibu-themed Barbie print. The soft and sustainable pieces are adorned in icons of flamingos, roller-skates, rainbows, beach balls and more.
