Zendaya forwent her bridal-inspired method dressing for Zimmermann‘s “fearless femme” styling for Wednesday night’s appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City alongside costar Robert Pattinson.
“The Drama” actress, styled by longtime collaborator Law Roach, turned to Zimmermann’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection for her late night attire. The mononymous actress’ dress featured elements of deconstruction with an ornately designed lace fabric.
Crafted in a shade of deep blue, the long-sleeve dress was crafted with a bouquet of florals, an intricate motif that featured throughout the lacy fabric. Form-fitting on the bodice and long sleeves, the dress’ skirt featured pleating and plenty of movement for a whimsical touch.

The bodice of the frock included elements of deconstruction, with exposed boning on the corset top and cutouts beneath the sheer lace fabric. A garter element at the hips added a touch of boudoir styling and a throwback to design codes of the past decades.
As for finishing touches, Zendaya wore a pair of red-bottom black So Kate pumps by Christian Louboutin. She also wore a Rolex watch, seen just beneath the sheer sleeve of her dress. Zendaya’s glam featured the actress’ “bixie” styled with a side part and flouncy curls, with makeup highlights including a smoky eye and glossy lip.
Zimmermann’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection made its runway debut as part of Paris Fashion Week in March. Described as a collection of designs for the “fearless femme,” the Australian brand’s curation, by designer and cofounder Nicky Zimmermann, “was inspired by trailblazing females of the 1920s, including the designer’s own grandmother,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
The collection “balanced the brand’s signature rippling gowns with a terrific array of daytime options, from belted jumpsuits in crisp cotton drill or supple leather, to aviator-style jackets, draped denim pants and Zimmermann’s spin on cricket whites: an oversize cable-knit sweater worn with breezy striped culottes,” wrote Diderich.
