Vanessa Bryant and her 22-year-old daughter Natalia turned the Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell on Saturday night in Los Angeles into a family affair, wearing distinct designs by Erdem and featuring variations on the little black dress.
Natalia Bryant opted for a long-sleeve black dress crafted in what appeared to be a jersey fabric. The dress was designed with a plunging neckline, framing the delicate necklace the model wore to accessorize her look.
Natalia’s dress included a gathered fabric element at the waist, with a knotted detail to add further emphasis to her waistline. The overall effect was that of a youthful interpretation of a little black dress, ideal for the autumn season.

Vanessa, meanwhile, chose glittering embellishments and an overall sequin design by Erdem. A long-sleeve, floor-length gown, the dress was encrusted at the bodice with large glass gemstone embellishments, creating a layered statement necklace illusion on the garment. The cuffs of the dress’ long sleeves included the same gem embellishments too.
While Natalia begun her journey as a burgeoning model, appearing in campaigns for Victoria’s Secret Pink, among others, the mother-daughter pair also continues the Bryant family partnership with Nike, in memory of late basketball player Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant, who both died in a helicopter crash in January 2020.
In April, Vanessa took to social media to share a series of six new Nike Kobe Bryant releases, featuring such styles as the Nike Kobe 9 EM Protro Mambacita to honor of Gianna Bryant, a Nike Kobe 4 Protro CHBL for the Chinese High School Basketball League and a butter-hued Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low in yellow and purple, among other styles.
The Baby2Baby Gala is an annual fundraising event that supports the aforementioned organization. The Los Angeles-based nonprofit supports children struggling in poverty by ensuring necessary items like diapers, clothing and formula are readily available.
