The cast of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” touched down in London for the film’s latest premiere on Wednesday, decked out in designs by Balenciaga, Mugler, Versace and more.
Stars Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt led the high fashion front with custom designer pieces, along with a bevy of shimmering jewels. Simone Ashley added a pop of vibrant springtime color with her attire, while Meryl Streep went purely method. WWD breaks down those looks ahead.
Emily Blunt
Blunt nodded to “The Devil Wears Prada” poster color scheme with her custom Balenciaga look. The actress wore a corseted strapless bodice with a flowing train and coordinated pants in a fiery shade of red. Her heels augmented the monochrome approach of her look. Blunt accessorized her ensemble with more than a million dollars’ worth of jewelry from Mikimoto, including a pearl and diamond necklace, earrings and rings.

“Who doesn’t love a high jewelry moment on the red carpet, and with pearls, no less,” Blunt said in a statement provided by Mikimoto. “How fun. I absolutely adored this necklace and felt so special wearing it.”
Jessica Paster, Blunt’s stylist, nodded to the “demand for high jewelry pearl pieces,” with the curated look for the London premiere. “This film is all about fashion, so we had to come prepared with only the best, and when it comes to pearls, that is unequivocally Mikimoto.”
Simone Ashley
Ashley went for sartorial vibrancy in a fuchsia one-shoulder dress by Thierry Mugler. The dress, which hails from the designer’s resort 1984 collection, featured a structured silhouette with deep pockets, a bow at the one shoulder strap, plunging neckline and a belted waist for a refined silhouette. The actress, styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, accessorized with jewelry pieces by Tasaki.
Anne Hathaway
Hathaway favored a customized Versace dress. The strapless look harkened back to a silhouette featured as part of the fall 2022 collection. The structured bodice of the dress featured sheer paneling contrasted by firm black lines, while the skirt was crafted in a velvety fabric with a short train. The Oscar-winning actress wore jewelry pieces by Bulgari, for which Hathaway serves as an ambassador and campaign star. Her look was curated by stylist Erin Walsh.
Meryl Streep
Streep went method in her latest “The Devil Wears Prada 2” look with a red, black and white Prada ensemble. The venerated actress paired a white dress shirt with tapered black trousers and a voluminous red coat with coordinated pointed-toe heels. Micaela Erlanger styled Streep’s attire.
