Vergara was nominated this year for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series for her work in Netflix’s “Griselda.” In the series, she plays Griselda Blanco, the Colombian drug dealer who built an empire during the Miami drug wars in the 1970s and 1980s. Vergara has been previously nominated four times for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series category for her role in “Modern Family.”
Vergara first debuted on the Golden Globes red carpet in 2010, wearing a strapless blue Carolina Herrera gown with a tulle skirt. Since then, she has returned to the ceremony five times in looks from Michael Cinco, Zac Posen, Vera Wang and Zuhair Murad. The actress often collaborates with stylist Charlene Roxborough on her looks.
