London’s famous Odeon Luxe Leicester Square played host to the red carpet screening of “The Magic Faraway Tree” on Sunday night. The film’s stars, from Nicola Coughlan to Claire Foy, attended the event in designer looks, channeling the film’s whimsical spirit for their respective sartorial statements.
Styled by Aimée Croysdill, Coughlan wore a look courtesy of Georges Hobeika. The soft green dress was a customized iteration of a look that hailed from the Lebanese designer’s spring 2026 couture collection, which debuted as part of Paris Couture Week in January.
Originally designed in a soft pink tone, the green variation of the dress complemented Coughlan, with a flowing skirt and structured bodice. An off-the-shoulder design framed the “Bridgerton” star with long, flowing sleeves and jewel embellishments for added elements of whimsy.

Claire Foy, who costars with Coughlan in the film, opted for a more structured take on whimsical styling for Sunday night’s red carpet. The actress turned to Acne Studio’s for her attire, wearing a combination of the layered shirtdress with a single-breasted suit jacket.
Featuring a cool color palette, the shirtdress included a long-sleeve button-down collared shirt with a pale blue skirt and lace overlay, designed with ornate floral elements and intricate details throughout. Breaking up the tonal scheme of her ensemble, Foy paired the look with dark boots.
Flights of whimsy have found their way into various designer collections, red carpet moments and even in high-profile brand collaborations over the course of the last several years. But for Foy and Coughlan, their red carpet looks not only served as extensions of their personal style, but also as a means to amplify the thematic elements of their film.
