Before the beauty queens competed for the Miss USA 2023 crown on Friday in Reno, Nevada, the grand fashion pageantry started when the judges and hosts arrived on the red carpet.
Judges Nicole Miller, Patrick Starrr, Vivica A. Fox, Countess Luann De Lesseps and Emina Cunmulaj Nazarian made vibrant style statements during their red carpet arrivals to kick off the competition at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino’s Grand Theatre.
Miller, founder of her namesake womenswear brand, wore one of her own designs from her spring 2024 RTW collection. The designer bloomed in a floor-length marigold dress covered with sequins.

Vivica A. Fox went blue in a jumpsuit by Nadine Merabi that featured feathered cuffs and tonal sequined embellishments. The actress coordinated with Sophia Webster heels and Candy Ice jewelry.
Nazarian shined in a strapless yellow high-slit dress that featured sequins, beads and crystals. The model-philanthropist shared on social media that her seat at the judges’ table was a milestone moment. “I’m a small-town girl, an Albanian girl from a small farm milking cows until I was 15, and now I’m sitting as a judge of Miss USA — so guess what, dream big little girls because it will happen to you too. I’m doing this for me and every single Albanian girl there is.”
Starrr chose a look with a boost of red drama. The founder of One/Size Beauty opted for a gown with a voluminous tulle skirt that had some last-minute challenges that Starrr was able to resolve with a clever styling hack for a wrinkle-free finish. “No steamer, no problem,” the entrepreneur captioned a behind-the-scenes Instagram video. “Turn the shower on full heat and close the door.”
Former “Real Housewives of New York” star Countess Luann De Lesseps embraced an ethereal dress by Boogie Musni River, which featured beaded white iridescent fringe. “Not only are the girls beautiful, but they are so smart, so well-spoken — they just have it all, and that’s what it takes to be Miss USA,” the singer said on Instagram.
Boogie Musni River was also a look that Miss USA Noelia Voigt chose to celebrate winning the crown at an after-party. “She is ready to rock the Miss Universe stage,” River said.
Voigt of Utah bested 50 other delegates for the Miss USA title. The 22-year-old esthetician will represent USA in the Miss Universe 2023 competition. She follows Morgan Romano of North Carolina, who assumed the Miss USA 2022 title after R’Bonney Gabriel of Texas won Miss Universe 2022.
Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Keltie Knight served as the night’s hosts. Bailon-Houghton posed on the red carpet in a black strapless dress with allover sequins and floor-grazing train, and Matara earrings for extra sparkle. Meanwhile, Knight wore a structured long-sleeve black dress with crystal stud trim and a sheer corset top.
This year’s Miss USA sponsors include Portia and Scarlett, Ema Savahl and Diverse Style by Sydni Dion, who will provide looks for the opening number, swimwear and footwear, respectively.
