Miss Teen USA 2022 Faron Medhi finished her reign on Thursday, as she crowned Miss Teen New Jersey UmaSofia Srivastava the new Miss Teen USA 2023 in Reno, Nev.
The event was hosted by Justin Sylvester from “E! News” and sponsored by Ema Savahl Couture, athleticwear brand Definite Articles and footwear brand Diverse Style by Sydni Dion.
Ema Savahl Couture was chosen to dress all Miss Teen USA contestants in cocktail dresses for their final looks. “My vintage collection dresses are each a unique masterpiece, telling their own captivating stories. It’s an incredible honor to see them on the Miss Teen USA pageant stage, where their narratives truly shine. These cocktail dresses aren’t just garments; they’re history, creativity, and dreams brought to life,” said fashion designer Ema Koja.

Evening Gown Category
UmaSofia Srivastava of New Jersey wore a white minidress with a multicolor floral detail throughout.
Stephanie Skinner of New York went blue in a strapless dress with a teal and white design. The 19-year-old contestant, who won first runner-up, paired her look with strappy gold heels.
Carolina Sola of Ohio went gold in a halter-neck dress with floral embroidery. She coordinated her frock with a blunt-cut bob hairstyle.
Maggie Ross of Pennsylvania wore a crisp white minidress with a one-shoulder silhouette and scalloped edges. Ross made second runner-up at the competition. “Placing 3rd out of 51 incredible teens is such an honor that I will never forget. I had the BEST experience at Miss Teen USA. Pennsylvania, I hope I made you proud,” part of Ross’s Instagram caption read on Wednesday.
Haylee Puckett of Texas opted for a sculpted fit, wearing a beige gown with a corset-like insert and matching paneling along the torso. For hair, the 16-year-old slicked her black tresses up into a high ponytail.
Athletic Wear Category
The activewear category was sponsored with fashions by Definite Articles. The top five finalists were the same silhouette, which included the brand’s cropped tank top and matching leggings.

Final Looks and Final Question Category
To secure her Miss Teen USA victory, Srivastava wore a Jovani gown from the brand’s spring 2024 collection. The floor-length gown featured layered lilac fabric with rosette details.
Miss New York Teen USA Stephanie Skinner wore a statement red ballgown with slight pleating around her neckline and a shimmering waist-tie detail. The contestant matched her frock with red shiny earrings.
Miss Ohio Teen USA Carolina Sola wore a custom black gown by Henris Pageant, which featured a square neckline and a dramatic white boa.
Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Maggie Ross wore a glamorous plum-colored gown with ruffles, a matching overskirt and a dramatic bow detail on her shoulder.
Marrying pink and black, Miss Texas Teen USA Haylee Puckett wowed audiences in a mermaid-style gown with a bright pink top and train.
