The 2023 Black Music Action Coalition Gala on Thursday in Los Angeles was a scene for artists, executives, producers and more famous stars in the Black music community. Presented by Live Nation, the evening honored Sylvia Rhone, Jermaine Dupri and Lizzo, who was the recipient of the Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award.
For the occasion, the “Rumors” songstress wore a classic black strapless gown custom made by Juan Méndez Couture. Styled by Matthew Reisman and Reginald Reisman, Lizzo completed her look with opera gloves and shining jewelry.

R&B singer Chanté Moore also opted for sheer details in a pink lace catsuit with floral designs. The artist coordinated her look with a fuzzy gray boa jacket and studded open-toed heels.
