Julia Fox commanded attention at the Mugler fall 2024 ready-to-wear presentation on Sunday as part of Paris Fashion Week. The “Down the Drain” author wore a sheer catsuit that was covered in clear sequins, creating the effect of a shimmering second skin.
Plastered to her ensemble were long plastic strips finished in a sharp point and fanning outward from Fox’s neckline, waistline, wrists and ankles. The star wore skin-tone undergarments to create a seamless transition from fabric to skin beneath the sheer look.
The outward edges of Fox’s face were covered in silver glitter, which followed through her slicked-back hairline and was lightly sprinkled around her collar. Additionally, Fox wore a bold silver eye shadow. The same chrome shade was also applied along Fox’s upper and lower lip line.

According to a report from WWD, Mugler’s fall 2024 rtw collection, the brand’s creative director Casey Cadwallader was “inspired by founder Manfred Thierry Mugler’s insect-inspired creations, working pointy panels into spiral-shaped constructions and sectioning the body with graphic leather straps.”
