Jessica Chastain arrived on the red carpet premiere of her new film “Memory” at the 2023 San Sebastian Film Festival in San Sebastian, Spain, on Wednesday, in a custom Gucci dress that was heavily embellished with blue sequins, giving the illusion of fireworks. The strapless gown also had a thigh-high slit. She paired the dress with metallic peep-toe sandals from Aquazzura.
To create her look for the premiere, Chastain worked with her go-to celebrity stylist, Elizabeth Stewart. Stewart also works with Amanda Seyfried, Cate Blanchett and Julia Roberts.
Chastain’s attendance at the San Sebastian Film Festival comes just after the Writers Guild of America union leaders voted unanimously to approve the deal between them and AMPTP after a five-month strike. While a WGA deal has been approved, SAG is still on strike, meaning Hollywood is not yet returning to business as usual. Directed by Michel Franco, “Memory” has an interim agreement with SAG for promotion.
