Jalen Hurts brought a deep purple look to Super Bowl LIX ahead of the big game on Sunday in New Orleans, La. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback joined his team for the match against 2024 Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
For the major sporting event, Hurts arrived to Caesars Superdome in New Orleans wearing a monochrome, all-purple suited look. The quarterback’s single-breasted blazer, tapered trousers and button-down shirt were all designed with the same hue of deep purple.
Drawing comparisons to the “Purple Rain” style popularized by Prince, the suited look merged surprising, vibrant color with sophisticated tailoring that worked for the Philadelphia Eagles team member’s athletic frame.

Hurts paired the suit with black, patent leather shoes and carried a black Coach duffle bag. Hurts further accessorized his look by wearing a pair of bold, thick-framed black sunglasses courtesy of Gucci.
Throughout the inseam of Hurts’ blazer and printed in red on the collar of his button-down shirt was particular motif that nodded to Hurts’ own brand. “Breed of One” was embossed in red on the collar of the shirt, a phrase used on Hurts’ own brand apparel.
The inseam detailing and design also included the phrase motif, adding a personal touch to Hurts’ overall look for the biggest game of his career.
The Super Bowl LIX, the NFL’s championship game for the 2024 season, takes place on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. This marks the 11th time New Orleans has hosted the Super Bowl, tying with Miami for the most by any city. Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.
