Halle Berry arrived at the jury dinner ahead of the Cannes Film Festival on Monday in Cannes, France. The Oscar-winning actress serves as a jury member for this year’s film festival, alongside Jeremy Strong, Hong Sang-soo and jury president Juliette Binoche.
Berry opted for a design courtesy of Alexandre Vauthier‘s spring 2025 couture collection. The actress and filmmaker’s look featured a dramatic blouse comprised of swinging fringe fabric in black and shimmering silver beaded strands.
The base of the loose blouse included black feather detailing. Berry paired the ornately designed piece with a pair of black, wide-leg trousers. The actress accessorized her attire with a pair of red, pointed-toe heels for added color contrast.

She also wore a pair of black, boxy sunglasses. Berry went minimal with her jewelry pieces and styled a blunt bob coiffed in a wavy style. The look was curated by Maryam Malakpour. Berry also collaborates with stylist Lindsay Flores, who curated the actress’ 2025 Met Gala ensemble by LaQuan Smith.
Berry’s Alexandre Vauthier look made its runway debut as part of Paris Couture Week last January. The collection was characterized by its understated designs, curated by the eponymous French luxury fashion designer.
“Mainstays included sharp blazers and pant suits that demonstrated Vauthier’s technical chops. But he also offered fresh eyecatchers such as a cape dress in sparkling rhinestones that revealed high-cut slits with every step; a bustier jumpsuit with floor-length panels modeled after the flaps of a jacket, and an asymmetric number that completely uncovered one leg,” Lily Templeton wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
The 2025 Cannes Film Festival begins Tuesday and concludes May 24. Films premiering at this year’s festival include Wes Anderson’s “The Phoenician Scheme,” Julia Ducournau’s “Alpha” and Lynne Ramsay’s “Die, My Love.”
