Gayle King put her own spin on power suiting for the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The “CBS Mornings” co–anchor interviewed nominated artists on the red carpet, including Chapelle Roan, among others.
For the occasion, King opted for power suiting with a feminine touch in a design by Marc Bouwer. The longtime journalist wore a chocolatey jumpsuit with a coordinated blazer. The jumpsuit of King’s ensemble featured wide-leg pants. The bodice included a plunging, angular neckline with a cinched waist, thanks to a satin belted element that offered definition to the silhouette of King’s look.

King’s jumpsuit was paired with a coordinated, single-breasted blazer with angular pockets, a sharp collar and defined lapels. King’s blazer also included contrasting fabric elements on the lapels, collar and pockets, creating sartorial tension opposite the velvet fabric.
As for her accessories, King opted for silver pendant necklaces. She also carried a clutch in shades of brown and black. King’s hair featured a red hue and was styled with a side part and sleek, subtle waves. Her makeup included bold brows, a smokey eye and a lightly lined lip.
While on the red carpet, King interviewed Grammy-nominated artist Chappell Roan about her performance for the night. Roan offered King a hint regarding her performance, saying “It’s an animal. That’s the hint.”
