Netflix’s “A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter,” a holiday music variety spectacle blending tradition with a unique contemporary twist, debuted on Dec. 6, featuring pop star Sabrina Carpenter performing chart-topping holiday classics and more songs. The variety show-style special featured comedic sketches, including appearances from Nico Hiraga, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell, with Quinta Brunson portraying a comedic ghost of holiday present. She also had duets with guests like Shania Twain, Kali Uchis, Chappell Roan and Tyla.
The costumes seen in the productions matched the subversive tone of the special. Carpenter donned naughty and nice looks, including a sensual Santa Claus-like romper, a Bob Mackie-inspired bodysuit alongside Tyla, an ombre black-silver fringe minidress with Shania Twain, a green halter top with matching flared trousers for her duet with Chappell Roan and more.
