Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Day Four of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 on Wednesday. The couple spectated a Wheelchair Basketball preliminary match between Ukraine and Australia. Harry, who is the founder of the annual sports event, was present at the event to support the athletes and promote the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
Hosted by the German Armed Forces and the City of Düsseldorf in Germany, the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 officially began on Sept. 9 and will run through Saturday. The competition is joined by international wounded, injured and sick (WIS) armed forces personnel, serving or veteran.
Harry and Markle produced a docuseries inspired by the 2022 edition of the game. Titled “Heart of Invictus,” the show premiered on Netflix on Aug. 30.
