Miss Universe 2023 Swimsuits Debut Onstage: See All the ‘Modernized’ Looks

The Miss Universe Organization debuted its line of swimwear live during the pageant on Nov. 18 in El Salvador using the contestants as models. Produced under the name Miss Universe by Rubin Singer, the swimwear collection is available for preorder on missuniverse.com. “Rubin’s work is innovative as well as stunning,” said Paula Shugart, Miss Universe Organization president, in a statement. “As a brand that started out in swimwear almost 75 years ago, we’re excited to modernize our runway with his take on sensuality and power.”

The 2023 Miss Universe pageant featured contestants from more than 80 countries competing for the crown. Olivia Culpo, Maria Menounos and Jeannie Mai are the night’s hosts, and singer John Legend will entertain viewers. R’bonney Gabriel of USA is the 2022 titleholder. Clarisse Designs provided dresses for all delegates for the opening number, and Jojo Bragais was the footwear sponsor. Lebanese jewelry company Mouawad has been the official jeweler for the Miss Universe Organization since 2019.
