The 2024 Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony took place on Nov. 6 in Cape Town, South Africa. A series of high-profile guests attended the event, including Prince William, who created the initiative in 2020, awarding for the first prize in 2021.
Along with the British royal family member, Prince William was joined by supermodel Heidi Klum, who styled a vibrant orange flowing dress with an asymmetric neckline. Billy Porter also attended the event, wearing a black and white suit with an abstract pattern.
The Earthshot Prize initiative was started by Prince William to engage with the ongoing impacts of climate change, inspiring scientists to incorporate their research into new technology to combat global warming.
