BTS may have started as a K-pop band, but they have evolved into a giant cultural force of meteoric proportions.
BTS debuted to the public in 2010 and would go on to rack up award nominations for Billboard Music Awards and the Grammy Awards. They originally began as a hip-hop group but have since expanded their discography to include music across different genres, including R&B, pop and EDM.
The group has been one of the biggest hitmakers in the world of K-pop. In 2020, BTS became the first group since the Beatles to chart four U.S. No. 1 albums in less than two years.
The members of BTS have caught the attention of luxury brands. Here, WWD looks at how the band’s style has changed over the years.
