Emma D’Arcy put an edgy spin on utilitarian dressing mixed with athleisure for the “House of the Dragon” FYC event on Thursday in Los Angeles. The actor stars in the HBO series, a prequel to the Emmy Award-winning “Game of Thrones,” alongside Olivia Cooke and Matt Smith.
D’Arcy opted for a look similar to one of the styles showcased at Lacoste‘s spring 2025 ready-to-wear runway show. D’Arcy’s look featured a black tracksuit, complete with glossy fabric. The jacket featured a subtle zipper and included the contemporary Lacoste logo on the jacket’s breast — a departure from the brand’s crocodile iconography.

As for any accessories, D’Arcy opted to go minimalist, choosing instead to keep the utilitarian-style look the focal point of their attire. D’Arcy’s makeup featured a natural, clean visage, while their hair was slicked back for a modern, edgy appearance.
Lacoste’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in October 2024. Creative director Pelagia Kolotouros took inspiration from brand founder René Lacoste’s off-court style, especially the 1920s snapshots of the founder and friends at the seaside, according to Lily Templeton’s review of the collection for WWD.
“Woven into a solidly wearable lineup were nods to 1920s swimwear, silky robes and sharp tailoring as well as street-savvy fare like boxy neo-polo shirts cut from denim and whisper-thin micro-ripstop nylon parkas,” Templeton wrote.
“Strongest were the suits developed using a new piqué that had the hand of a tropical wool; leather blousons and shorts that came oversize, ready to slouch handsomely with wear; bodysuits and dresses that bared the ribs or back.”
