Demi Moore was one of Dries Van Noten‘s surfer girls on Tuesday night in New York City for the Sound of a Woman: Rita Wilson in Conversation With Demi Moore at 92NY.
The Oscar-nominated “The Substance” star turned to the Belgian fashion label’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection for her red carpet attire. The look was comprised of a tailored black jacket and camel tone, wide-leg capris.
Embroidery was a major motif for the look, featuring a white collar with a fluid embellished design evocative of aquatic plants. The same motif extended to the capris, which included black embroidery at the sides and near the waistline.

The Dries Van Noten spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection made its runway debut as part of Paris Fashion Week in September 2025. Under the guidance of Julian Klausner, who joined the label in 2018 and rose to the role of creative director in 2024, the collection was initially a nod to “surfers for spring,” per Samantha Conti’s WWD review of the collection.
Klausner’s curation, however, expanded beyond “the beach, the waves, and being in sync with nature and the sunset” as the designer’s main musings.
“Models floated out like a school of exotic sea creatures flashing colors like lemon, lime, tangerine and bright green. Some wore sheer, printed caftans with colored sequins dripping down the front, while others showed off swingy shifts edged with rhinestone clusters, meant to mimic the shimmer of the water,” Conti wrote.
“The collection, as always, was full of zingy color combinations — and contrast. Klausner paired two-tone tailored jackets with long, diaphanous skirts, and gave boyish knee-length olive shorts a Victorian grandma vibe, with beaded black embroidery.”
