Dakota Johnson put a sultry spin on monochrome dressing at “SNL 50: The Anniversary Special” on Sunday in New York. The actress walked the red carpet in a one-shoulder Gucci gown featuring a high slit and the Italian label’s signature horsebit hardware.
Johnson accessorized with high-heeled Gucci sandals and a pair of large gold hoops by Sidney Garber.
The “Madame Web” star was styled by Kate Young, who also counts A-listers like Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson and Michelle Williams as clients.

Last fall, Johnson sat front row at Gucci’s spring 2025 presentation during Milan Fashion Week. The actress layered a roomy leather jacket over a sheer floral dress, accessorizing with a miniature version of the brand’s Jackie handbag.
Johnson has been affiliated with Gucci since the 2010s, appearing in campaigns for their accessories and fragrances.
Earlier this month, WWD announced that creative director Sabato De Sarno would be exiting Gucci. The designer debuted his first collection in 2023, and the upcoming fall 2025 show will be presented by the Gucci design office.
